I have a quirky sense of humor, and I had to think long and hard to find a name for my website that reflects both my personality and my photography.

I'm a dad, with a perfect sense of dad humor, who's caused more than one eye-roll at the dinner table. I'm a grand-dad ("Cappy") who loves little more than to be the safe island when my little girls show me for the umptillionth time how they can swim in the pool. I'm a co-worker who loves to remind people I had a great start to the day simply be waking up this morning!

I'm sure you'll see I'm a man of faith. It's long been my goal that when I compose a shot and press the shutter I'm able to capture the wonder of creation around me and the awe I feel at that moment. It's a wonderful gift we've been given--from the life-giving light from the sun, to the snow and rain, to the mountains, rivers, and forests, to the stars at night. I love it all.
